Milani Rose Powder Blush Swatches

Finally got my hands on these gorgeous Milani Rose blushes! Aren't they pretty!? 

It is pretty hard to get Milani products in Canada. And I ordered mine from Well.ca (they also carry e.l.f and wet n' wild products if you have trouble finding them in Canada).

Anyways, here comes the swatches!

From left to right ( 05 coral cove, 06 lady rouge, 08 tea rose, 01 romantic rose)

I find these blushes are pretty pigmented (especially coral cove and lady rouge) and these are all matte colours with no shimmers at all! For $7.99 you can't go wrong! I just can't get enough of the rose pattern :)

Hard Candy Top ten tredsetters eyeshadow collection Birthday Suit overview and swatches

Hi beauty lovers,
This will be my last post on the New Hard Candy Top ten tredsetters eyeshadow collection.
Today I will show you the swatches on Birthday Suit palette.
So here we goes.

 Cute faux leather with studded details just like the other two palettes.

From the palette you can see 10 nice matte eyeshadows.
And down below is the full set of swatches.

The color pigmentation is not as good as the other two palettes I reviewed. Especially the lighter colors are quite chalky but the darker colors are really nice and pigmented. I think this palette can still make a good eyeshadow blending palette in my opinion.

Basically I think all these three new palettes from Hard Candy are nice to have. ^-^

Hard Candy Top ten tredsetters eyeshadow collection Raining Men overview and swatches

Hi beauty lovers,
Last post I did the overview and swatches of the New Hard Candy Guilty Pleasure palette overview and swatches. And this post I will do some swatches of the Raining Men palette.
So here we goes.

The palette is around 6 dollars in Walmart and you can only get Hard Candy products in Walmart. It has the cute packaging with faux leather and studded detail and also you can see all 10 eyeshadows through the glass which is easy to see. I think the design is quite unique, so you don' t have to open each of your palette and see which colors are inside.

This is the first palette out of the five that catches my eye. I think this is a gorgeous palette and all of the colors in this are stunning! I like them all! And also they are so pigmented! You can see my swatches down below.

I actually used this palette on my eyes today. If I touch the eyeshadows with my fingertips. there is not a lot of fall out. However, I used eyeshadow brush from ELF today, there's tons of fallout.
However, even Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 palette have lots of fallout. So, for 6 dollars, this is a really good palette to have in my opinion.
I will also do another post of the third palette I picked up, the name of the Palette is Birthday Suit. It contains 10 eyeshadows but they are all matte. Please check back later.

Hard Candy Top ten tredsetters eyeshadow collection Guilty Pleasure overview and swatches

Hi beauty lovers!!
Look what I got today~

I am so exciting to find these new Hard Candy eyeshadow palettes in Walmart! These are 6 dollars each which is really affordable. I believe there are 5 new palettes in Walmart and I think these are in their permanent collection.  

I picked up two palettes for today one is called Guilty Pleasure on the left and on the right is called Raining Men.  I love the packaging! You can see all 10 colors clearly from on the top and also the bottom is faux leather with studs on it. Feels really good in my hands.  I will do review and swatches of Guilty Pleasure for this blog post, and I will do another blog post for Raining Men.

Let's look at the packaging of Guilty Pleasure first ( I love love glitter eyeshadows):

You can see big chunky glitter on top of each eyeshadow in this palette, and after you touch these eyeshadows, the big chunky glitters are gone and left with eyeshadows underneath without these crazy glitters.

You can see when I first swatch the purple color, it contains big glitters but after the glitter all comes off you can barely see glitter in my second or my third swatch.

These shadows are pigmented and so pretty! For 6 bucks, if you are glitter eyeshadow fan as I am, go for it!

Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 dupe?

Yesterday I did a blog post about NYX butt "naked" turn the other cheek palette. And when I place the NYX palette and Urban Decay palette side by side I think a lot of the shades are pretty similar.

Therefore I did some swatches and found 5 shades similar to the urban decay basic 2 palette.

Can you tell the differences? I think these are pretty similar!
The top row is from NYX palette and the bottom row is from Urban Decay Basics 2 palette.

The bottom row swatches from left side to right (Urban Decay):
Skimp, Stark, Frisk, Cover, Primal, Undone
Top row swatches from left side to right (NYX palette):

* Middle row 3rd pan from left = skimp
* I can't find the color Stark in NYX palette  
* Top row 3rd pan from left = Frisk
* Top row 2nd pan from the left = cover
* Middle row 2nd pan from left = primal
* Bottom row 1st pan from left = undone

Basically, you can achieve the same look as using Urban Decay Basics 2 palette from NYX butt "naked" turn the other cheek palette for cheaper price. Also from NYX palette you also get blushers and illuminators. For more swatches you can check out my last post.

NYX butt "naked" turn the other cheek palette review and swatches

I just picked up this NYX palette today in my local drug store or you can find it online either on London drugs website or NYX cosmetics website.(When I checked the palette is already sold out on the nyx website.) The palette contains 15 eye shadows, 4 blushers and 3 illuminators. Also the palette contains a really good size mirror! I think this makes a great travel palette!  You can create natural day look and also night time look with it. One downside is that I wish the palette contains one bronzer in it.
So here is photo of the palette:

NYX butt "naked" turn the other cheek palette 

I love the blushers and illuminators in the palette. They are really pigmented and pretty! Contains two matte blushers and the other two contains shimmer in it.

There are 8 matte eyeshadows and 7 shimmer eyeshadows in the palette and I will show you the swatches row by row.

Most of the colors are really smooth and pigmented in the palette. But when you see the swatches, some of the shades are really similar especially the shimmery ones. Overall, I think it is a great palette for the price!

Hair Tool Haul

I really needed a hair brush for blow drying and I really wanted to splurge on the Bumble and bumble The round brush which cost $95 Canadians on Sephora website.

 Until I saw these Goody ones, then I changed my mind. 

These are made with natural boar bristles too just like the Bumble and bumble one but with a fraction of the price. Also the goody ones are ceramic infused for faster drying. I got mine from Walmart. But you can also find these from amazon.
